The 20th Annual Le Cajun Award Show will be Friday, August 15th 2008. This show is provided by the L'Association De Musique Cadienne Francaise De Louisiane.

Kira has been nominated for her New CD - Stickin' To My Roots. One of her new songs on the CD, "Le Denier Respect" has also been nominated for Song of the Year. She has also been nominated for best "Female Vocalist" category. We were also notified that she has been nominated for Accordionist of the Year.

The New CD was a long time coming and Kira is very excited just to be nominated alongside with these other Cajun Musicians.
